Spring 2024
Yarnify is a local yarn shop situated in South Loop, Chicago. The shop prioritizes education and community on top of offering high-quality yarn and goods.
The final design was inspired by the different knitting patterns, namely the garter stitch, drop garter stitch and the box stitch. The array of colors chosen was to mimic the colorful chaos of yarn at the shop itself, as well as to tie into the aspect of community and people coming together.
Process
My approach to this design was to start with 5 main keywords on a mindmap. While sketching, I incorporated elements such as knitting needles, the square shelving and the yarn itself.
