This illustration was done for a partnership between Lucky Jefferson and The Book Worm Bookstore's Book Fest 2024.
I wanted to create an image that focused on the celebration and festival aspect of the event. I opted to handwrite the type to give it a more whimsical and personal feel. The carnival-esque imagery alludes to the actual events of the Book Fest, such as the 'Character Parade' and the 'Read and Play Book Carnival'.
